This project was born from a search triggered by my cleft palate. This journey of acceptance, forgiveness and resilience led me to dabble in makeup. At first as an instrument to hide my “defect”, until I understood how powerful it could be as a tool to highlight virtues. The therapeutic effect that makeup could generate, enhancing the way in which the world is faced, was diluted very quickly, so I wanted to try something more permanent, and I came to microblading, a technique that allowed me to meet many more people with all types of skin. of skin conditions, in addition to various cancer patients. This led me to take courses in tattooing and paramedical micropigmentation, but as an architect, I needed a three-dimensional solution, which motivated me to keep looking until I found a concrete, dignified, realistic and, above all, predictable option, to the great problem of replacing a such an important part for our anatomy and emotional well-being, such as the areola-nipple complex. Being able to manufacture an aesthetic alternative so realistic and personalized in all its dimensions, that it can be felt as a natural part of the body, both physically and emotionally, gave life to My Nipp prostheses.
